The ultimate pilsner experience

Together with renowned glass manufacturer Spiegelau, we have created a lasting monument to our beloved Trumer Pils and developed a glass that maximises the pleasure of drinking it.

Glass manufacturer Spiegelau, known for producing the highest-quality glasses, approached us in 2016 about working together to develop a special glass for “Pilsner German Style” beers. After all, exceptional beers should be served in exceptional glasses. The most striking aspect of the Craft Pilsner Glass is its slim form. That shape is important because it infuses the escaping carbon dioxide bubbles with the light and flowery aroma of hops.

The glass is held high while drinking, thus achieving an optimal balance for the senses by establishing a perfect interaction between the dryness, light sweetness and pleasant bitterness of a pilsner. The slim, light form of the glass also supports the crisp, light taste of the beer and provides a deliciously prickly mouth feel. A key part of the glass’s unique style is the tapered form of its bottom third. This produces a slight swirling in the beer that releases enticing hop aromas. A slight inward curve at the very top ensures that just the right amount of hop aroma is held within the glass, developing it perfectly with each and every sip. This optimal presentation of the beer’s hoppy and flowery aromas brings the refreshing pleasure of a pilsner to a whole new level.
